For The Oldies Who Like Company Only

Good location. Ideal for OAPS......we were there to help my in-laws (who are in their 80s) with travelling, cases, the paperwork, etc Benidorm itself surprised me - undoubtedly it's an ugly blot on the Costa Blanca landscape, but within it we found lots of green relaxing spaces, good sea front walks, lovely bars and great tapas places The hotel is living on its past glories. Caught in a 70s/80s time warp and needs a significant upgrade (apparently the bedrooms are slowly being upgraded, but the reception, bars, dining room and pool areas all need significant investment. Appears to be relying on loyalty of elderly client base, without offering them much back in return.

Great Hotel

A well positioned hotel which has been very well refurbished and has new comfortable sunbeds and a lovely big swimming pool. The air conditioning has been improved and generally the hotel is a nice place to stay. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble and the Manager in the dining room makes you feel very welcome and is always smiling and the food was very good. The room was kept clean and towels were changed daily.

Ok if you want to be in the middle of the night life

The location is good for night life but not if you want the traditional benidorm. Noisy all night, noisy all day, food is geared for English tourists who don't really want to experience Spanish food. You may as well go to Blackpool. Can't really blame the hotel though as all the guests seemed to enjoy this. Not for me though, old town next year.
