Local Buses

The Llorente Bus system can take you to anywhere in Benidorm and beyond. They are inexpensive, modern and allow you to visit all of Benidorm from Ricon de Loix to Levante Beaches to Poinente/La Cala but also including Mundo Mar, Terre Mitica, Aqualandia and La Marina Mall. Bus # 10 will take you to Alfaz, Albir and Altea and runs every 15 minutes during the day.

A little known secret to visitors is that you can actually visit Gaudalest on your own during weekday mornings. Bus # 20 departs Cala Finestrat at 8:40am and the centre of Benidorm at 9:10am. Upon arrival in Guadalest, the bus affords you 2 hours for your independent sightseeing heading back to Benidorm at 12:30pm. This line only has one bus a day making stops in La Nucia and Polop, also, which can be visited on another trip with Bus # 20 during your holiday.

The Tram or Ferrocarriles de la Generalitat Valenciana (FGV) can take you as far north as Denia and south as Alicante. Recently a limited stop tram, the L1, was added out of Benidorm towards Alicante cutting the travel time greatly. Now there’s no excuse for not visiting the Lucentum Roman Ruins, Castilla Santa Barbara or MARQ (Archaeology museum) in Alicante. The L9 tram departs from Benidorm, making all stops to Altea and Denia. If ever you should have your camera handy, as the mountains and the sea have never been more picture perfect on this route.

Alsa Bus

Want to catch the latest at the City of Arts and Science in Valencia? You can on a day trip right from Benidorm with the Alsa Express Bus.
